Additional Information

By broadening the reach of nursing leaders and partnering with organizations across the state, nurses can use their voice to inspire change. From testifying at the legislature to publishing scholarly work, nurses can demonstrate why they have been voted the most trusted profession by advocating for better healthcare in West Virginia and beyond.

Our featured speakers will be discussing the roles that nurses have as healthcare and nursing advocates. Earn up to 4.0 Contact Hours while the program includes four accredited professional development sessions to enhance nurses knowledge when speaking with the media, writing OpEds, publishing research as well as inside advice on testifying at the WV Legislature.  Students in attendance can count their attendance towards their WVNA Honor Cord program. We are thrilled to bring our expert speakers to the nurses of West Virginia!
