WVNA Nominations and Awards Committee – Meeting Topics
The committee will address the following agenda items:

• Scholarship Recipient Selection Criteria – Review and finalize the standards and process for choosing recipients.

• Call for Applicants – Develop and promote the process for soliciting candidates to serve on the West Virginia RN Board and LPN Board, including the WVNA Board interview and Governor submission process.

• Call for Nominations - Develop and promote the process for soliciting candidates to serve on the WVNA Board.                                                                                                                
• WVNA Annual Awards – Plan and coordinate the nomination and selection process for annual WVNA recognition awards.

• AANP NPO Registration Nomination – Select an individual to utilize WVNA’s complimentary non-profit registration for the annual AANP conference.

• Other ANA-Associated Opportunities – Nominate WVNA members for national programs such as the American Nurses Advocacy Institute (ANAI) and similar initiatives.
