WVNA Events Committee

The WVNA Events Committee is all about bringing nurses together to connect, honor, and have a little fun along the way. From planning our signature Celebration of Nurses and Unity Day – Nurses Day at the Capitol to organizing Nurses Day and Nurses Week festivities each May, this team keeps the calendar full of meaningful (and memorable!) events. If you enjoy planning, teamwork, and celebrating nursing in West Virginia, this is the committee for you.

Join us! There’s a role for everyone on the Events Committee!

• Advertising & Outreach – connect with sponsors and exhibitors

• Education – help coordinate continuing education (CE) sessions

• Student Engagement – support nursing student poster presentations

• Fundraising – organize raffles and auctions

• Administration – lend a hand with behind-the-scenes details

• Program Editing – polish the event program

• Day-of Event Volunteers – pitch in onsite (with complimentary admission!)
