Call for WVNA Nominations

The West Virginia Nurses Association will be electing new officers to its board of directors in the fall of 2019. The positions that will be open are: Vice President and Secretary. Those interested in running for these positions should submit a letter of intent, a bio sketch, current CV or résumé, and a photo. The applicant should be a WVNA / ANA joint member in good standing.
Functions of Officers:
- The vice president shall assume all the duties of the president and the president-elect in their absence and shall be chair of the Unity Day planning committee.
- The secretary shall be responsible for ensuring that the records are maintained of meetings of the Board and Membership Assembly and serve as a member of the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors, shall notify members of the annual meeting of the Membership Assembly, and serve as a liaison with the editor of the WV Nurse.
