Updates on Executive Orders for CRNA's and APRN's

Posted about 4 years ago by Julie Huron

Dear WV Nurses,

The WVNA continues to work diligently to ensure that patients have access to care and that WV Nurses are available to step up during the COVID-19 Pandemic.  WVNA learned late last night, Friday, March 27th that Governor Justice signed new Executive Orders pertaining to CRNA's and APRN's and clarified the Executive Orders for Physician Assistants.  WVNA has a call out asking for another emergency meeting with the WV RN Board, because CRNA's and APRN's are already being asked to provide more assistance as healthcare workers are being quarantined.  We know this is an emergent situation.

Please access the COVID-19 Pandemic webpage to access relevant nursing information in WV as well as natiowide.
