Dear WVNA Nurses,

As your local Grand Canyon University counselor, I’m proud to work with the West Virginia Nurses Association to help you and others in your organization in the pursuit of continuing education. In response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, GCU is offering these innovative and exciting virtual professional development opportunities for you and your members.

These complimentary, virtual OnPulse with GCU sessions are designed to increase employee retention and develop staff skillsets that positively impact patient experiences, quality care and internal team culture.

The OnPulse with GCU experts leading these virtual sessions are qualified, experienced professionals who possess specialized skills and knowledge to coach, mentor and inform on various educational topics. Our subject-matter experts share valuable insight, innovative ideas and critical issues relevant to health care communities.

We are offering the following sessions coming up. Please share this with your staff! They can click on the Zoom registration links for the session(s) that interest them and fill them out. Once we receive their completed registration, we will reach out to them with more information.

These activities have been submitted to Orbis Education for approval to award contact hours. Orbis Education is accredited as an approver of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.
