Thank you for your nursing activism to support all WV Nurses!
Dear Honorable Senator _______,
As a [Your Profession] deeply invested in our state's healthcare system, I'm writing to express my strong support for SB 810. This crucial bill will remove outdated administrative barriers, empowering Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to provide high-quality care to West Virginians.
CRNAs play a vital role in our healthcare system, particularly in rural areas where access to care is often limited. By granting CRNAs autonomy to practice at the top of their license, we can:
Notably, 43 states have already recognized the value of CRNAs and granted them practice without supervision language. During the COVID-19 pandemic, CRNAs in West Virginia were allowed to practice without supervision, demonstrating their ability to provide safe and effective care.
SB 810 is a common-sense solution that will modernize our healthcare system and recognize the value CRNAs bring to our healthcare teams. I urge you to support this bill and ensure West Virginians receive the best possible care.
Thank you for considering my perspective. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on SB 810.
Sincerely,
