We're excited to share news from our WVNA Platinum Annual Partner and Organizational Affiliate, WVU School of Nursing! They will be hosting an in-person information session for the Doctor of Nursing Practice – Nurse Anesthetist program on Saturday, August 2, 2026. Details are below!

MORGANTOWN, W. Va. — The West Virginia University School of Nursing will host an in-person information session for the Doctor of Nursing Practice Nurse Anesthetist program on Saturday, Aug. 2.
Registration will begin at 8 a.m. and the session will kick off at 9 a.m. in Health Sciences Center-North, Room 2940B.
The event will include a Q&A session with nurse anesthetist faculty, a meet and greet with current students in the program, a tour of classrooms and a tour of the WV STEPS Center, where students get to practice their skills hands-on.
“In-person attendance enables the candidate to see the exceptional facilities we have at WVU, including our simulation center, to meet current students, and to ask questions of nurse anesthesia program faculty that would not be as easy to answer in a group meeting online,” said Nurse Anesthesia Program Director Dr. Aaron Ostrowski.
The program recently received the highest accreditation status possible, 10 years, by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs. The program was also recognized this year by U.S. News and World Report as one of the top 2025 Best Graduate Schools, ranking No. 68 in the country.
Please fill out this Qualtrics form to register to attend the in-person session.
