National Day of Action (Nov 12) and Become a WVNA Legislative Leader

Posted about 6 hours ago

Hello Nursing Advocates,

Thank you for being part of the West Virginia Nurses Association! Your membership helps move nursing forward and now, we invite you to step into leadership and make your voice count (as a WVNA Legislative Leader).

As a WVNA Legislative Leader, you’ll join a powerful network of nurses shaping the future of healthcare in West Virginia. You’ll attend a short training in January, then take action during the legislative session by connecting with your lawmakers when key nursing issues arise.

Interested? Contact Julie at WVNA at Julie@wvnurses.org to sign up as a Legislative Leader!

Today is the National Day of Action!

We’re calling on all West Virginia nurses to reach out to your representatives and ask them to:

  • Support legislation to prevent workplace violence, and
  • Promote policies that protect nurses’ mental health and well-being.

Use the link below to easily find and contact your representatives, and let them know nurses are united and watching!

Nurses are the backbone of healthcare. Together, we can make sure Congress and state leaders prioritize the safety, health, and the strength of our profession.

Let’s make our voices heard — for nurses, by nurses.

With appreciation,

Julie
